Unigen Pharmaceuticals, Lacey, WA, has appointed Regan Miles as president and COO. Previously, Mr. Miles was executive vice president.

In other developments, Unigen has added two scientists to its team. As a scientist in the Discovery and Screening Department, Alexandre Nesterov, a cell biologist and expert in receptor research, will work to develop an enhanced high-throughput cell-based screening system for new product development. Joining the company as a quality control scientist, Mijeong Jeong will work in the development and validation of analytical methods.
